What is the Power Platform?

The Power Platform is a set of tools built by Microsoft that allows users to develop and manage custom built applications, workflows, and analytic reports in a streamlined and low-code environment.  This set of tools consists of 3 main components PowerApps, Power Automate, and PowerBI.  Here at FBS we are leveraging each of these applications to create amazing tools that changing the foundation of how our business leverages technology.  In most situations to develop an app it can cost well over $100,000 dollars, we are now able to create our our solutions tailored to our needs for significantly cheaper, and since we are and ESOP, that mean more money in our pockets as employee owners.

PowerApps

PowerApps is A Low-Code User Interface Designer that can be used to create a wide range of web applications.

Power Automate

Power Automate is the workflow are of the Power Platform.  It can be used to automate all kinds a processes and take the information collected by PowerApps and turn it into actions.

Power BI 

Power BI may be one of the strongest pieces of the Power Platform.  It is the Data Analysis arm let takes all the data it receives from the other parts of the Power Platform and turns it into actionable information, that can be used to improve the business.
